Wichita Falls, TX, April 17, 2019 – FC Wichita Falls, a member of the US Arena Pro Soccer League, is in the middle of spring training for the 2019 season, and the players are working hard to prepare for their first game. The team will travel to take on FC Amarillo on April 28th, and then come home to gear up for their first home game on May 4th at Kay Yeager Coliseum. Members of the press are invited to come to training camp tonight, April 17th at 8pm at the YMCA Child Care Connection (2600 TX-325 Spur, Wichita Falls TX 76306).
“So far I'm very pleased with what we've seen at training during this first week. Everybody has been working hard and pushing themselves to build fitness. I've also seen great camaraderie developing withing the team so I'm very happy about that. Players that like each other and learn each other's tendencies will always be more effective as a team, and that's exactly what we are trying to build here. I'm looking forward to our first game of the season in Amarillo on April 28th. We're doing everything we can now to prepare ourselves to go there and come back with a win.” -Brandon Swartzendruber, Head Coach
